Cataracts can be caused by a variety of reasons such as long term exposure of eyes to ultraviolet rays, exposure to highly effective radiations or it can also be caused due to other diseases like diabetes or due to highly developed stage. Cataract is very harmful if not treated on time.
They can also be termed as genetic disease as it can be developed in earlier stages if a family has a positive cataract history. It can also be caused due to eye injuries and more likely to affect people associated to flying jobs like pilots. They are the primary cause of blindness. Cataracts can be treated by different eye surgeries available in the market requiring the removal of full eye lens. The most common method to cure the cataract is by removing the hazy lens. The two methods available in the market are ‘extra-capsular’ (ECCE) and ‘intra-capsular’ (ICCE). In ‘extra-capsular’ treatment the lens is removed leaving most of the part of the lens intact where as in ‘intra-capsular’ treatment the entire lens is removed as well as very rarely used now days.
Treatment

This method is widely known as it is reliable safe and cheaper but should be prescribed by a registered or licensed homeopath doctor only. Its effect can also be reversed by the use of drugs such as doxorubicin, cyclo phosphamide and hydroxyl urea used for chemotherapy. This situation should be treated as soon as it has been recognized and with the treatments like manipulation or surgery required to correct hip dislocation and cure for disease like cataracts.
